Retirement:  One Year Review

I've been retired one year.  My retirement anniversary (January 1st) conveniently falls at the same time the New Year arrives and the tradition of making new year resolutions.  I thought, why not use this moment to conduct a performance review of myself over the last year.

HERE’S 6 QUESTIONS I’VE ASKED MYSELF THIS JANUARY:

1.  What feels satisfying about my life in retirement so far?

2.  What’s the status of my most important relationships?

3.  How are my finances?

4.  What’s the status of my health?

5.  Is there a void in my first year?

6.  Do I need a course-correction moving forward?

ANSWER:  I’ve concluded it’s been a good year for me.  I feel completely rested & healed.  I think my re-set is complete.  I’ve also concluded that I will make a course-correction moving forward.
