This is Brandy a couple of months ago; a perfect specimen of beauty and health. Last night she crawled under the bed. We let one of her companions (To-Jo) in to see her. He stood vigil over her. I think he could sense something is wrong with Brandy. When I left for work this morning both of the other dogs (Patch & To-Jo) were hovering very close to her and wouldn't leave her side.

These pictures are worth a thousand words. My prayer is that Brandy will pass peacefully @ the home with the people she loves so very much & who loves her so very much. Your German Shepherd...Dante...died @ home. My Brandy died @ the vet's office & his passing was completely unexpected for me.
So sorry...our pets are our babies. They are members of the family. Prayers going up for Brandy and you guys!
I agree; these pictures are so tender and sweet; almost made me cry. Friendship and/or family is certainly not limited to humans. Our family has been through this too and we are thinking of you.
